• Disaster & Emergency Relief: The branch plays an active role in providing immediate relief, first aid, and essential supplies (like blankets, hygiene kits, and food) to families affected by local natural calamities, industrial mishaps, or accidents.
• Health and Medical Services: * Blood Donation Camps: Organizing voluntary blood donation drives in collaboration with local hospitals and industrial sectors (like NTPC, BALCO, and SECL) to ensure a steady supply of safe blood.
o Health Check-up Camps: Conducting free health screening, distribution of medicines, and awareness camps, particularly in the rural and tribal pockets of Korba district.
• Youth Red Cross (YRC) & Junior Red Cross (JRC): * The society actively collaborates with schools and colleges across Korba to form JRC and YRC groups.
o Students are trained in first aid, disaster management, and health awareness, empowering them to lead social welfare campaigns like hygiene drives and menstrual health awareness.
• Community Welfare & Awareness: Running regular campaigns on critical health issues such as Malaria, Dengue, Sickle Cell Anemia, and promoting cleanliness under local health guidelines.
